Abstract

The article presents a clinical case of very late stent thrombosis in a patient with acute myocardial infarction. The possible reasons and management tactics of such patients are analyzed. Clinical risk factors contributing to the development of thrombosis are considered. An algorithm for follow-up and treatment was defined. The presence of a high risk of thrombosis, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, heart failure, etc. is a prerequisite for the appointment of long-term dual antiplatelet therapy. To assess the risk of stent thrombosis, it is necessary to take into account the criteria of thrombotic and ischemic risks in patients, which, accordingly, evaluates the probability of developing a myocardial infarction or sudden coronary death in patients with acute coronary syndrome, which determine more aggressive management tactics for this group of patients.
