Abstract

The article presents the results of a 6-month treatment with a fixed combination of 10 mg of ramipril and 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide in patients with moderate hypertension and metabolic disorders. These results demonstrate the effect of treatment on the daily profile and variability of blood pressure, regression of left ventricular hypertrophy, improvement of diastolic function, as well as metabolic neutrality.
