Abstract
The main purpose of the study was to analyze the dynamics of incidence and prevalence of thyroid nodules in Ukraine and in the Carpathian region for ten years (2006-2016). Materials and methods were used as material data of annual reports f. # 12 «Report on the number of reported diseases in the area of hospital services» for 2006-2016. According to the study established the increase of incidence and prevalence of thyroid cancer in Ivano-Frankivsk region in the last 3 years. Proved that active detection of persons with the threat of nodules of the thyroid gland, a study of family history, iodine deficiency, relationship to the accident at Chernobyl improves the quality of life of patients and efficiency, reduce mortality, reduce disability. Thus established patterns of growth in the last decade the level of incidence and prevalence of thyroid nodules in Ukraine and more accentuated in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of development national and regional programs for the early detection of disease.
