Abstract

The article presents the current views on the features of the clinical course, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular implications of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‑19). It is noted that patients with cardiovascular diseases have a more severe course of COVID‑19 infection and higher mortality rates, but final and complete data on frequency and types of long-term cardiovascular complications after COVID‑19, clinical consequences and long-term risks, clear management algorithms for post- COVID‑19 syndrome are currently missing.
