Анотація
Анемія та дефіцит заліза є частими коморбідними станами в пацієнтів із хронічною серцевою недостатністю (ХСН), особливо в осіб похилого і старечого віку. Вони асоціюються зі зниженням якості життя, фізичної активності, підвищенням частоти госпіталізацій та смертності. Метою роботи є узагальнення сучасних даних щодо патогенезу, клінічного значення, діагностики та лікування анемії у хворих на ХСН. Показано, що дефіцит заліза може негативно впливати на перебіг ХСН навіть за відсутності анемії. Обґрунтовано необхідність скринінгу та індивідуалізованого підходу до терапії.
