Abstract

Overweight and obesity have become a global health problem, according to the established risk factors. The prevalence of these conditions is increasing every year and today they are diagnosed in almost 25% of the working population. The study of the features of the course of acute myocardial infarction under the conditions of overweight and obesity is relevant and appropriate, since many questions regarding the mechanisms of pathogenesis of comorbid pathology have not been resolved as yet, and the results of treatment and prevention among such patients remain not effective enough.
