Abstract

A medical case of human dioctophymosis in combination with kidney cancer and type 2 diabetes is described. Presumably the cause of this parasitic lesion was the consumption of unboiled water or insufficiently heat-treated coarse fish. Furthermore, the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of human dioctophymosis represented in this description, which
improves the understanding of this parasitic lesion.
