Abstract

In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of personality of patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) from the position of the concept of «accented personalities» by Karl Leonhard. Our study confirms the thesis about predisposition of certain types of individuals to functional disorders. Although we can’t talk about a certain personality profile that is specific only for FD patients. Significant difference in personality profiles of patients with different clinical variants of FD was not found.
