Abstract
The data of the impact adipocytokines on the dysfunction of the pancreas in chronic pancreatitis were analyzed in the article. The data of the resulting of contemporary literature allows to identify the role of some adipocytokines (apelin, TNF-α) in the development of diseases associated with obesity such as insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome and to speculation about their involvement in pathophysiological processes in the pancreas, especially in the mechanisms of the development of chronic pancreatitis.
