Abstract

The paper summarizes the data about the features of diagnosis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The diagnosis of NAFLD can be made through imaging studies or liver biopsy with histologic confirmation. Although there are several non-invasive methods and biomarkers of stage of liver steatosis and fibrosis. The article represents results of study of sensitivity and specificity of different non-invasive methods of hepatic steatosis and fibrosis in different cohorts of patients.
