MANAGEMENT OF TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS IN ADULTS: ANALYSIS OF NATIONAL AND AMERICAN GUIDELINES

Abstract

The Unified clinical protocol for primary and specailazed medical care (UCPMC) «Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) in adults» was approved in July, 2024.
Reasoning and statements of UCPMC are based on the principles of evidence-based medicine considering modern international recommendations, which are presented the clinical guideline «Standarts of medical care in diabetes of American Diabetes Association — ADA, 2021 with updates of 2023.
Basic aspects of screening, diagnosis and treatment are presented in the article, which are based on national recommendations in comparing with clinical guideline ADA.
