Abstract
The article describes and analyzes the features of providing emergency medical care to two patients with heart failure who were treated in a hospital setting. Hypertensive crises occurred in both men: in the first — on the background of acute heart failure, and in the second — chronic. Timely diagnosis based on the analysis of the clinical picture and available data of instrumental examinations made it possible to choose the correct treatment tactics. Further observation of the clinical course of the disease helped to develop an optimal strategy of pharmacotherapy taking into account generally accepted international standards.
