Abstract
The war in Ukraine led to numerous complicated mine blast injuries, often associated with severe pain which interferes with rehabilitation and deteriorates the patients’ quality of life. The first medical association of the city of Lviv introduced the routine use of transforaminal epidural injections in patients with pain syndrome for rehabilitation procedures. In this article, we present two clinical cases of transforaminal epidural injection of drugs under X-ray control and subsequent rehabilitation. We express our gratitude to the professor of Cambridge University Rokas Tomosauskas who helps in carrying out the manipulation.
