Abstract
The article gives a review of research results regarding clinical use of pentoxifylline to treat the following diseases: lower limb vessels arteriosclerosis obliterans and remittent limp, cerebral vessel disorders, diabetes, chronical renal disease, chronical cardiac disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, rheumatoid arthritis and COVID‑19. Research analysis showed that pentoxifylline is an efficient product to treat both acute and chronical diseases. It is based not only on numerous clinical investigations but also on the product’s good tolerance, its versatile activity and economical availability.
