Abstract
The article reveals clinical applicability of Iberogast® in the treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders. It is also overviewed the mechanisms of therapeutic effect of the drug, and data on its effectiveness and safety. It is concluded that the clinical efficacy, good tolerability and safety of the drug, which have been confirmed in numerous studies, allow us to recommend Iberogast® as the drug of first choice in the treatment of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and their individual symptoms.
