Abstract

The article presents the definition of polyneuropathy, its classification, and the main therapeutic measures in this disease. The aim of the study is to determine the effect of vitamin B complex (the drug Vitaxon®) in the treatment of pain in polyneuropathies. It is shown that patients who got more doses of vitamin B complex (B1, B6, B12) presented significantly different rates of speed of impulse along nerve fibers from patients in whom vitamin B complex therapy was absent.
