Management of patients with chronic pyelonephritis (lecture-report)

Abstract

The article presents the results of the personal experience of modern management of patients with chronic pyelonephritis (CP). It stressed the need of differential diagnosis of obstructive and nonobstructive CP. The greatest diagnostic value are excretory urography and CT scan of the urinary system. The basic directions of treatment - antibiotics in the active phase, supportive therapy, pathogenetic therapy, correction of lifestyle; removal of stone formation. Using similar tactics eliminates cases of recurrence in the next 2-3 months, and readmissions.
