Abstract

Cough is a nonspecific defense mechanism during ARI, which under certain conditions may become of inadequate intensiveness, intrusive and impair the general condition of the patient. In the above case, the cough becomes a separate problem for the patient, and needs pathogenetic and symptomatic therapy. Expectorant stepwise therapy with Pectolvan® Stop with further transition to drug Pectolvan® Hedera is adequate scheme that takes into account the different stages of the respiratory system mucous membrane reaction on infectious lesions.
