Abstract
This paper analyzes the experience of treatment of complex clinical case of autoimmune hepatitis of the first type in the adult male. The diagnosis was established according to guidelines of American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD). The scheme of starting therapy sorted well with international protocols of treatment of autoimmune hepatitis, but later was corrected due to the ineffectiveness and side effects of cytostatics. Although alternative therapy was successful, it requires further study of its safety and efficacy.
