Abstract
The article presents contemporary literature data and the results of own investigation of the role of stressful environmental factors in the development of functional gastrointestinal disorders in children. When working with children and adolescents with functional disorders, one should take into account not only clinical manifestations, but also negative stress with its subsequent removal, which in turn may help to reduce the frequency of functional disorders in the adult age.
